Things Do Get Pretty BAD On The 14th...!!!

Richard Benjamin famously said it: 

in the introduction to his most-forgettable film 

"Saturday The 14th" (which co-starred his better half, 

Paula Prentiss - both stopped acting afterwards.) 

His voice is heard, off-camera, stating this simple fact - 

"things get bad on Friday The 13th 

but they get rrreally bad on Saturday The 14th!"

(we merely paraphrase here...!)

Well, this year of Our Lord 2018 

in the misbegotten USofA, 

Saturday The 14th is, also, 

(on top of being "the day after the 13th") 

two very incompatible things: 

AND

NATIONAL 

NUDE 

DAY! 

... okay, it might have been

*international* really...!? 

anyway!

That's one way to participate...?!? 

That is mighty unwise 

to have those two, er, 

"holidays" 

coincide like that...!!! 

IT IS NOT SAFE 

to eat your macaroni 'n' cheese 

HOT FROM THE STOVE 

when you have no clothes on!!! 

  YOU MIGHT BURN YOURSELF...  

  LIKE... ALL OVER!!!  

and then you will FINALLY embrace 

the veracity of these words: 

Kill the bunny... and everyone else, eh

Easter almost always bring that sentiment to the fore: proving that there is an Elmer Fudd slumbering within each and every one of us?

''Kill the Bunny.''

Robot Chicken seems to say just that in its series of sketches that aren't always funny either...

See Ya At WOOFSTOCK - Wouldn't Wanna Be Ya!

They may have nothing but good intentions - including PURINA ALL-STAR DOGS shows, V.E.C. DOGGIE CLINICS, PETOPIA on-site doggie daycare AND the Rescue Me WALK-A-THON - but really now; WOOFSTOCK is about as humiliating for man's best friend as anything else human minds have ever devised for the canine folk!  (Okay, cartoons and talking pet flicks are "not real" - but still!)

Just look at this line-up and then YOU tell ME if that's any way to treat your proverbial BEST FRIEND:

We are looking for two scruffy pooches to be transformed at Woofstock. Please email us pictures of your ruff-around-the-edges dog in all their shaggy glory.

STUPID DOG TRICK CONTEST
Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. Does your pet exhibit an unusual talent or ability? The zanier the better. No time to paws. Get Rover to start fine tuning that trick now. This is your dog's moment to shine, to put their best foot, er paw, forward and win the recognition they deserve.

MR. AND MS. CANINE CANADA PAGEANT
Does your dog exude canine charisma? Does everyone remark on how adorable or good looking they are? Limelight hogs (let's make that "dogs"), can compete for the crown in the Ms. and Mr. Canine Canada Pageant.


Saturday's winners will return the next day to compete with Sunday's finalists for the grand prize packages.

BEST COSTUME CONTEST
Dachshunds "dressed" like hot dogs. Ballerina Borzoi's. Chiuauas decked out as frogs. This is the chance for your dog to dress to the canines. To channel his or her alter ego. Or yours!
Onsite registration will take place between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon each day.

On top of it all, didn't they just hideously misspell CHIHUAHUA back there...?!?  As if making the poor pooch dress up like a freak wasn't bad enough...  No more Taco Bell for you, "master"!
