That must be a reference to our
CREDIT CARD BILLS, NEXT MONTH!

Isn't it LOGICAL to actually WAIT to "get scary" - until the actual day that is known as ALL-HALLOWS' EVE...?
Seems to me that, "getting scary early" dilutes the whole sordid affair - like, it isn't even "morbid fun" anymore once one gets there!
Once again, NOT that I condone nor partake in it - last time I bothered donning a costume to actually go "trick or treatin" it was 1977, I do believe...
